Hey there!

I'm Aliza, a fashionista, travelista, and lover of anything pink! I am a born and bread New Englander; my home base is in Massachusetts, I summer in Maine, and I just graduated college in Rhode Island. My life (and style!) changed forever when this NE gal took on England in 2018. I loved exploring my London home and every weekend brought a new European adventure. Ever since I’ve been chronically ill with the travel bug and my fashion sense got an urban spin. I just graduated college and I am following my dream by pursuing a career in fashion! Follow my blog to watch me navigate post grad life, see what I am wearing, where I am off to next!

A beauty post from me?! A little different than my average content, but hopefully you are thinking, “What a pleasant surprise.”

I am not super into beauty, like some bloggers, but I have especially taken a liking to these ones, so I had to share. I think I have been using them basically since around Christmas time, so I have been testing them out for a few months and they have really proved themselves to me!

Do you have any beauty products that you have been obsessing over lately? Tell me in the comments because I would love to know!

  1. Living Proof Dry Shampoo

Okay guys, this one’s good. I have been hopelessly in love with dry shampoo ever since I discovered it in probably high school. I used to feel like I had to wash my hair everyday, but dry shampoo has proved me wrong! Recently, I have been styling my hair so much more (blowing it dry, curling it, or even straightening it) and when you spend all of that time styling it, you don’t want it to last for just one day. The Living Proof Dry Shampoo has been an influential player in making my styled hair last a few days and I’m loving it! In comparison to over dry shampoos, I find this one to be particularly light, airy, and it gives my hair a great amount of volume. Even if my hair isn’t dirty, I’ll spray some in just for a little volume!

  2. Living Proof Blow Dry Concentrate

Like I said before, I have been styling my hair so much more recently. When I was younger, my mom always told me that my hair looked so much better when it was blow dried. But I never wanted to because it took so much time and, let’s be honest, I simply don’t have the patience to do that. I head that the blow dry concentrate cut down blow dry time and that was enough for me, I knew I had to dry it. Not only does it make blow drying your hair so much faster, but once you are done drying your hair, it literally looks like you went to the salon and someone blew out your hair for you (or at least a lot better than doing it at your house). It also makes your hair smell amazing, just saying. After blow drying my hair with the Living Proof Blow Dry Concentrate, I make my “blow out” last a few days by using the Living Proof Dry Shampoo. A match made in heaven!

  3. Prenup Instant Spray Hair Mask by IGK

Santa left this one in my stocking this year and I couldn’t be happier that he did. Since I have been using a lot more heat on my hair, a hair mask is definitely necessary. Heat styling is so damaging to hair, so if you heat style your hair more than once a week you should try this hair mask. One of the major reasons why I love it is because it is so easy to incorporate into your shower routine. Other hair masks you have to walk around with all of this stuff in your hair and let it sit for a while and I just don’t have time for that. I try to use this mask once a week and because you can just use it quickly in the shower, it is so much easier to use. You spray it onto your hair and leave it in for a few minutes before washing it out. Afterwards, your hair feels so soft and amazing and I am so here for it.

  4. Dove Exfoliating Body Polish

This is so random for me and I never pick up things like this at the drug store. Exfoliating is just overall great for your skin, as long as you don’t do it all the time. Like the hair mask, I try to use this body polish once a week. While I was home on winter break, I asked my mom if she had any scrubs because I just felt like my skin needed to be exfoliated and she handed me this. I used it in the shower after a hot yoga sesh and my skin has never felt softer! There is no better feeling than using this in a hot shower, let me tell you. It comes in a variety of different scents, but I highly recommend the vanilla macadamia nut sent. Not something I would typically go for, but it smells SO good. You have to try this and it’s so affordable and easy to find because you can just get it at the drug store!

  5. Dead Sea Mud Mask by New York Biology

Similar to the hair mask, to keep up with your skin you need a good face mask! I am a huge believer in face masks because I think they reset your skin. If you have to wear face makeup Monday through Friday than a face mask is the perfect thing to do on the weekend to unclog your pores and exfoliate your skin. I try to use this one once a week, but the packaging says that it is gentile enough to use daily. If I have a week where I have not a lot going on, I would love to see what it does for my skin everyday. This mask leaves my skin feeling so soft and refreshed. It is made out of mineral mud from the Dead Sea that is just known for having rejuvenating factors. This mask is Amazon’s Choice and available on Amazon Prime, which just makes everything mode appealing to me!

Which one are you going to try?
