My Favorite YouTubers
Whether I need some inspiration, motivation, or mindless T.V, YouTube always has my back! YouTube started out in the early 2000s, but I don't think that the creators ever realized that someday people would be making a living on their site. So many people document their lives on YouTube, and get paid to do it! I love watching fashion, beauty, and lifestyle YouTubers, basically on a daily basis. Here are some of my favorites (in no particular order)!
1. Fleur DeForce
Fleur is the queen of fashion and beauty (she also can convince me to buy anything)! With almost 1.5 million subscribers, a lot of people apparently agree with me! I love watching her videos because of her charming personality and her impeccable style. While watching one of her videos, her warmness makes you feel like you are just chatting with a friend about your latest purchases and favorite beauty products. My favorite videos to watch of her's are her fashion hauls. Fleur is unique because she shops at both ends of the market, because she recognizes that she has all different types of subscribers. Yes, she did just buy £90 leggings in her lastest video, but she also does MASSIVE Primark hauls and shops at other inexpensive stores, like Boohoo. I appreciate this because we can't all buy £90 leggings, even if we want to :)
2. Aspyn Ovard
I first started watching Aspyn's main channel for her haul and diy videos. Lately, she has been straying away from her usual content and has been making a lot of testing unusual products videos and more "funny" videos, that I do not enjoy as much. However, I am obsessed her her vlog channel that she has with her husband Parker. The two document their lives as newlyweds living in southern Utah and as they travel the world (which is my favorite part). They lead quite the busy lifestyle as they travel to one country, come home for a day or two, and then they leave for their next trip! Crazy right? I love feeling like I am right there with them as they see and do so many incredible things. Just this year alone they have traveled to India, The Maldives, Hawaii, Greece, and so many more cool places! Aspyn has also started her own online store this year and everything on the site is so cute! So basically, she is living my dream life and is absolute goals.
3. Becca Bristow
Becca is a registered dietician, turned YouTuber. She isn't as popular as some other people I have mentioned, but I believe that she is a hidden gem on YouTube. I first stumbled upon her channel when I saw one of her "What I Eat in a Day" videos (I'm a sucker for a what I eat in a day). I found her so fun and adorable and the next thing I knew I was watching all of the videos on her channel! I also find myself checking my subscription box just for her videos! Because she is a dietician, she is able to give her viewers more educational information about what she is eating, which I find so interesting and helpful. I love her series, "The Skinny On", where she gives you the skinny on different types of food you might think are healthy (i.e healthy frozen meals, diet sodas, etc.). She is able to break down the ingredient lists and decipher all of those long words we all don't understand and can't pronounce. Becca also just got married and I love watching all of her wedding diy videos and currently love the diy videos of her house! I basically could watch her all day!
4. Sarah's Day
Upon recommendation from Becca, Sarah's Day is my latest obsession. Her vlog style channel showcases her life in Australia that can basically be summed up quickly into two words: fitness and food. She may eat six meals a day (yes like full on meals!), but she trains so hard that you wouldn't even know it. Sarah eats a Paleo based diet and lives my the motto "Listen to Your Body", which I think is so important. As a former vegan, she listened to her body and switched to a more Paleo diet. On a Paleo diet, you aren't supposed to have grains, but when she craves them, she eats them, and supports everything in moderation. Even on my laziest days, she always inspires me to go to the gym, so if you are having one of those days where you don't want to go but you know you should, just watch one of her videos and you will be tying up your sneakers as soon as it's over!
5. Tess Christine
In my opinion, Tess could hold her own in a battle with Fleur for queen of fashion. She is originally from the midwest, but moved to New York City to fulfill her dreams. Her channel has only gotten better since her big move and I have been loving it! She films mostly fashion videos and travel diaries, which are both amazing and so fun to watch! It is hard to pick a favorite type of video she makes, so I would have to say it is a toss up between her OOTW and Get the Look videos. In an OOTW video, she takes us along with her for the week (usually while she is traveling some place cool) and shows us her outfit everyday. The way I describe it, they don't sound too interesting, but trust me, go watch here. Tess also shows her viewers how to get the look of a different fashion icon in her Get the Look series. Subscribers send her pictures of an icon's outfit, and she searches the web in order to replicate their looks, only for cheaper. Tess has shown us how to get the looks of Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and many more! No matter what video of her's you end up watching, you will definitely get some outfit inspiration!
