Spring Has Sprung Outfit
The temperature has finally reached above 50 degrees here in New England and it's time to finally break out my spring clothes! About time right? As much as I love my black, suede over the knee boots and big oversized sweaters, I am definitely ready for light and airy blouses and Jack Rogers! I have been dying to wear this outfit, and that is why it is the first one I wore when it was finally weather appropriate!
I just got this top and it screams spring! There's something about this blue and white striped pattern that automatically makes me think about spending time by the ocean and feeling some salty air. I also love that it is made out of a linen material, perfect for the warmer months, and it is cold shoulder! If you read my last fashion post, you know that I love off the shoulder and cold shoulder tops, they are so cute! The bow plackets on the cuffs add to the cuteness factor as well!
I paired this super springy top with a pair of basic dark wash denim, Ray Ban Aviators, and nude lace up ballet flats. Everyone needs a pair of dark wash denim in their lives because they can be paired with all of your spring tops. Everyone also needs a go to pair of quality sunglasses for the spring and summer months and mine are these . While denim, springtime tops, and aviators are my go to's, I find the beginning of spring hard when it comes to picking out shoes. In the winter, I am always wearing boots and booties, and in the summer I'm always wearing sandals. But what do you wear in between when you don't want your feet to sweat or to be freezing? These (similar) lace up ballet flats are the answer! When I wore them yesterday out and about to do some errands, my boyfriend told me that they did not look comfortable (they do take some breaking in), but he also told me that he noticed many different girls checking out my feet. These flats are an eye catching outfit maker!
I am so happy that spring has finally sprung in New England! I can't wait to share some more of my spring fashion ideas with you all, so keep your eyes peeled.
