All For Athleisure

All For Athleisure

Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I know that I, and probably you, ate wayyyy too much food and it is time to throw on some comfy clothes...and maybe hit the gym. Maybe.

I am the type of person that is always dressed up because it makes me feel happy and confident. So when I want to wear comfy clothes or hit the gym, they definitely need to be cute, so I am all about athleisure!

My favorite place to get gym clothes and comfy clothes is Athleta. With their motto, "Power of She" they are all about women, which is so awesome! I also love that they have clothes for every type of person. Some other athletic brands intimidate me because their clothes are made for die hard athletes and their labels list the activities you should be doing in their clothes. On the other hand, Athleta is like that for some of their clothes, but they also have a whole section in their store dedicated to hang out clothes and street clothes, with no pressure to do any sort of activity in them :) The store is easily shopable because they have a section for every activity and every type of person. Whether your sport is running, yoga, hiking, or you don't have a sport, they have something for you!

Right after I finished my Thanksgiving dinner, I changed out of my Thanksgiving outfit, right into this outfit! I love both of these pieces because they can be worn with so many other things! This funnel neck sweatshirt is seriously my new favorite thing! It is so comfy and cozy! I love that it has a cozy neck and I love the thumb holes on the sleeves; they will be perfect for when it gets even colder! So far, I have only worn it to lounge around in it and do errands (which it is perfect for), but it is also perfect to throw over your workout clothes on your way to and from the gym! It also comes in a couple of other colors too, so I might have to be that person that owns it in every color. Stay tuned.

These leggings are so bomb. Originally when I stepped in the Athleta store, I was after some plain, basic black leggings. I feel like every girls needs a good pair of those, right? But my aunt convinced me to buy these guys and I agreed because of the way that they feel and fit (and they are basically just plain black leggings, but they just have little fun cut outs on the sides!). They are so soft, it's honestly one of the nicest feelings! I also love the way that they fit my body. They are high waisted which is so flattering and sucks you in. They also fall just above my ankle because they are the "7/8" style.

Pro tip: I learned that Atheta leggings run a little big, so try them on before you buy them! Originally I bought a medium because I am a medium in literally everything. But, when I brought them home and tried them on for my sister, she told me that they were too big because she was able to pull them out from my waist. They are so nice there and have the best return policy, so I was able to exchange them for a small! So size down!

Shout out to my New Balance sneaks too! I just got these guys, more for athleisure purposes than working out purposes (lol). My sister convinced me to buy them and I am so glad that I did! They are so cute and comfy and go with everything! My other workout sneakers have pink in them and I hate to clash when I wear something that doesn't match. New Balance is such a cool company too, and they are located in Boston (my hometown!) so I am all for it. Here are some similar ones!

I may be the type of person that is always dressed up, but we need our comfy clothes too! This is for sure the outfit I will be wearing while running around the mall and buying all of my Christmas presents and probably while I'm in a food coma after Christmas dinner too!

Thanks for reading!
